Our head office is located in Amsterdam (Sloterdijk) and consists of more than 90 ambitious team members. Our branch offices are located in The Hague, Rotterdam and Los Angeles, USA.

To expand our Labor Law team, we are looking for an Associate Labor Law. In this varied position, you support the Team Lead and the associates in assisting our international clients with all their labor law related matters.

Tasks & responsibilities

Conducting (case law and legislative) research on complex legal issues
Keeping up with relevant legal developments and, if necessary, translating them into clear advice, instructions, and memos for internal and external use
Advising clients in the field of labour law, including advising on hiring, employment conditions, and dismissal of staff
Drafting and reviewing employment agreements and employee handbooks
Drafting and reviewing other labour law related documents and correspondence
Answering questions and providing (oral and written) advice on employment law issues

Requirements

Completed Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Employment Law / Personnel Management) with at least 3 years relevant work experience
Up to date knowledge of relevant legislations, rules and regulations
Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and Dutch
Result-oriented and pragmatic

Being able to work independently as well as in a team

A certificate of conduct (VOG) is required for the position and a reference check is also part of the application procedure.
