To expand our Labour Law team, we are looking for a Junior Associate Labor Law. In this varied position, you support the Team Lead and the Associates in assisting our international clients with all their labor law related matters.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Conducting (case law and legislative) research on complex legal issues and, if necessary, writing opinions and memos
  • Keeping up with relevant legal developments and, if necessary, translating them into clear advice, instructions, and memos for internal and external use
  • Advising clients in the field of labor law, including advising on hiring, employment conditions, and dismissal of staff
  • Drafting and reviewing employment agreements and employee handbooks
  • Drafting and reviewing other labor law related documents and correspondence

Requirements

  • University-level legal education majoring in labor law (a minimum of 1 year related work experience a plus)
  • Up to date knowledge of relevant legislations, rules and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and Dutch

A certificate of conduct (VOG) is required for the position and a reference check is also part of the application procedure.
