2022 Salary Thresholds for Highly Skilled Migrant and EU Blue Card Holders
If you would like to employ a valuable person who lives in a non-EU/European Economic Area and Switzerland, you can apply for a Highly Skilled Migrant residence permit or an EU Blue card for that employee.
Yearly, the salary criteria for Highly Skilled Migrant and EU Blue Card holders changes. Since the 1st of January 2022, the new gross monthly salary thresholds are following:
Highly Skilled Migrants younger than 30 € 3,549.00 gross per month
Highly Skilled Migrants 30 years or older € 4,840.00 gross per month
Reduced Salary Criterion € 2,543.00 gross per month
European Blue Card € 5,670.00 gross per month
